Town Finance Director Terry Hart and Public Works Director Donald W. Bourdeau, Jr., agreed that selling unused, outdated or retired municipal equipment could help defray some of the costs associated with the purchase of new equipment. The popular online police and municipal auction site Municibid has a new vendor; the town of Montville! Up for auction now are a couple of Crown Victoria’s, a white panel van and trucks.
Both Hart and Bourdeau shared the news at a July Finance committee meeting.
