Last Updated on January 27, 2023

With both durability and versatility, it is easy to see why some of the longest lasting trucks are often the vehicle of choice for thousands of consumers each year. However, that dependability comes with a hefty price tag as well. That is why it is important to do a little research and find a truck that will not only do the job you need it to, but also run for a long time.

The automotive research firm iSeeCars.com conducted a study in 2021 where they studied over 14.9 million cars sold, with the goal of determining which models had the highest percentage of surpassing 200,000 miles on the odometer. Overall, the firm identified eleven pickup trucks that met the qualifications outlined in the study. We are going to take a look at the five longest lasting trucks on the list and break down why they would be a great choice for any new or experienced truck owner in the year 2023.

Selecting the Most Reliable Truck for Your Needs

When it comes to selecting a pickup truck there are a few things you must take into consideration. For example, if you plan on using your truck for work then you will want to look for an option that is durable with a high-performing engine and a versatile bed.

Used trucks often provide the biggest bang for your buck. Since most of the vehicles on the list have already depreciated in dollar value when they reach 100k miles, you can often pick them up at a fraction of the cost. With proper maintenance, any of the pickups could last you well past 200k miles.

Regardless if you need a reliable truck for work or just want to enjoy the fun of a little off-road driving, Municibid can help you find the best pickup truck.
