Municibid is designed for local and state government entities to increase non-tax revenue by enabling them to more effectively sell their surplus items by using municibid’s online government auction platform.
“Given the success we had in a previous auction, the City of Salem has decided to continue auctioning our surplus goods on municibid” said Mayor Kimberley Driscoll, adding “the online auction allows us to expose our items to a much broader audience resulting in more bidders and higher bids for our items.”
Unlike other auction services, municibid does not charge commission on sales.
